Bible Study 2018 – Week 17 Learnings

April 30, 2018 Leave a Comment

I have been serious in doing my best to build my relationship with the Lord. Apart from the 1 year Bible plan, I have also been reading morning revival. Most of the time, I read through it and try to summarise what I read. Sometimes, I understood what I read. I wish that after I finish the Bible, I can piece it all together and get to be a better follower of the Lord. I’m continuously praying for it! Declutter Secrets

April 25, 2018 Leave a Comment

Home organization is my passion. When you come to my home, it’ll be quite obvious. But there is one thing I’m quite struggling about -> decluttering. I’ve focused too much on organization and kept buying organization tools but I haven’t completely finished decluttering yet. The right thing to do is declutter first before organizing. To keep myself inspired, I subscribed to some eCourses on home organization and one of them is Declutter Secrets! by Sarah Mueller of declutteringschool.com. [Read more…] about Declutter Secrets

A Quiet Place

April 23, 2018 Leave a Comment

Last night, I got to watch A Quiet Place with Nix. I’m glad we pushed through with our plans as it’s definitely better to watch the movie in a movie theater than on TV (via Netflix or other streaming services). [Read more…] about A Quiet Place

Bible Study 2018 – Week 16 Learnings

April 22, 2018 Leave a Comment

Last year, I decided to quit on my church life as I have been extremely disappointed with some members of the church. I truly embraced the usual judgment on Christians -> “Christians are hypocrites“. The worst people that I know are active in church (And they even look angelic!).  But then again, I failed to see that the most wonderful people I know are also Christians. If I’m going to compare the evil from the good, the good still outweighs the bad easily. I just realised that recently. Honestly, I’m not perfect too and I might have hurt people unintentionally. Simplify Digital Backups

April 16, 2018 4 Comments

I really love the free online courses offered by productivity bloggers.  Another one that I really enjoyed is the Simplified Digital Backups by Barbara of SimplifyDays.com.  It’s advertised as the ultimate guide for backing up your digital life and I believe it is correctly described. I learned so much from this course and it has me wanting to plan on how I should backup my digital files.  [Read more…] about Simplify Digital Backups

From Burnout to Balance

April 16, 2018 Leave a Comment

I’m a productivity junkie and whenever there are free online courses about the topic, I make sure that I sign up.  Even though, most of the courses take a lot of my time, I feel that they are worth it. I just have to be careful because I tend to only finish the course but do not take the lessons by heart to apply them. For today, I’m sharing the lessons I learned from the eCourse by Kalyn Brooke, From Burnout to Balance: A mindful approach to a more meaningful life. [Read more…] about From Burnout to Balance
