As long as there are still Korean series in Netflix, I will continue to check them out one by one, the last one I binge-watched is Healer. I liked the female lead in Healer and was also excited to see Park Won-sang (who played one of my favorite characters in Last) again. [Read more…] about Healer

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
I cry 99% of the time when watching movies or TV shows. I guess it’s the empathy in me always at play. But To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before struck me big time. And I’m just glad I watched it at home and not anywhere else where people can see me. [Read more…] about To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
Last
The only reason why I noticed Last in Netflix is that the leading lady was from the series, Moorim School. I want to watch more of her as I really liked her cutesy aura. It was fun to see another character from Moorim School playing one of the leads in Last as well. To be totally honest, if not for the 2 celebrities in the series, I wouldn’t even dare to watch Last. It doesn’t seem to be the type of drama series that I would want to watch. However, after finishing it, I realized that it wasn’t bad at all! It is a deep series rooted from family, revenge, loyalty, love and friendship. It’s a cut-throat type of setup but it will make us reflect on our own thoughts and decisions. [Read more…] about Last
Moorim School
On Netflix, the shows that I always look forward to are K-Dramas. I probably watched most of the available Korean shows already but there’s one that caught my eye, Moorim School. [Read more…] about Moorim School
Secret Love
I just finished watching Secret Love today. I’m surprised that I enjoyed it. After the 3rd episode, I read the finale recap online as I couldn’t contain my curiosity about the ending. I was so close to skipping the episodes and watching the last episode. I’m glad I didn’t push through with the plan and watched all the episodes. [Read more…] about Secret Love
Part-Time Idol
Part-time Idol is the shortest Korean series that I have watched with only five episodes. If you’re looking for a short binge-watch, you can never go wrong with Part-time Idol.
While it’s short, I love the story, how the story progressed and the heart-warming theme of the series. The acting wasn’t too stellar for some of the main characters but it was still believable! Ultimately, Part-time Idol’s good vibe is the main reason why it’s a must-watch. [Read more…] about Part-Time Idol
Black Butterfly
Black Butterfly has been released since May 2017 but I wonder why it’s only showing now in the Philippines. Anyhow, I’m glad I caught the movie today. If there is one word to describe Black Butterfly, I would say unpredictable. [Read more…] about Black Butterfly
A Quiet Place
Last night, I got to watch A Quiet Place with Nix. I’m glad we pushed through with our plans as it’s definitely better to watch the movie in a movie theater than on TV (via Netflix or other streaming services). [Read more…] about A Quiet Place
