Bea, Euri and I met for our usual bonding today. I always look forward to seeing them as they are my dear friends. When we do meet up, we always catch up on whatever is happening on our lives. We tend to do that over brunch. Usually, we meet at Greenbelt and then choose any of the restaurants there. Today though, we decided to meet at SM Aura for a change.

Bea and I arrived first. We walked around the Sky Park at the 5/F of SM Aura to choose for a restaurant we’ll eat in. As we walked along, I saw the big sign in front of Lugang Cafe that says Feast all you can! Who wouldn’t want to eat all you can, right? Luckily for us, the SM Aura promo is extended until today (June 17, 2017). For PHP 588 per person, I thought it was a good deal so we went ahead and entered Lugang Cafe. Today is my 40th birthday.  There’s no celebration at all, no parties and no special activities.  I initially planned to just stay at home but mom is not feeling well.  She was craving for something with soup.  So I got ready and drove us to SM Aura for have her fix of soup. Today is Roch’s mom Day!  I told my mom that I’ll take her to her favorite restaurant, Sonya’s Garden.

I discovered Sonya’s Garden Restaurant from my mom decades ago.  Since she loves Sonya’s Garden’s food and ambience very very very much, I learned to love the restaurant too! I actually even stayed at Sonya’s Garden Bed & Breakfast countless times. So today, I drove to Tagaytay so that I can bring my mom to her favorite restaurant. Last night, the family went out for dinner.  Upon walking around SM Megamall, we chose to try Fireside by Kettle.  I remember that we tried their buttermilk chicken fingers once in their Rockwell branch and we were satisfied with the taste.
